Become an Exchange Participant!

Through our exchange programme, we offer over 3,500 members a year the opportunity to have a practical professional experience in a foreign country. The challenge of living and working abroad provides an incredible learning experience.

The strength of our network, membership, and organisational support rests with exchange. Everyone in AIESEC is connected through exchange. We can link almost all of our local work directly or indirectly to increasing the quality and quantity of exchanges that we provide.

It is also the primary reason for which most organisations partner with us and for which our thousands of members communicate with each other on a daily basis.

Types of Exchanges:

AIESEC offers multiple exchange types. If you are interested in what you see below, please contact us.

Management Traineeships
These are related to administration, finance, accounting, marketing,
project management and HR.
E.g. Working for Microsoft in Germany for 6 months.

Development Traineeships
Usually they are with NGOs and in most of the cases relate to wide
variety of issues in community development.
(Mostly non-paid but Food and Accommodation guaranteed)
E.g. Spend time teaching English to Polish kids.

Technical Traineeships
Relate to management and development in web, software, networks,
and databases, plus some engineering.
E.g. Working as a software engineer in Japan.

Education Traineeships
Relate to promotion, curriculum development, teaching, and
counselling in the education sector.
E.g. Teaching economics in Brazil.
